Elena Cappellini lives and works in Rome.

After graduating at Liceo Artistico De Chirico she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts where she obtained first and second level diplomas in painting, making a direct path to synthesize more and more a figurative language. But during the last years she runs into the synthesis and her technique translates into an immediate, fast and solid pictorial style that leads her to experiment the universe of matter.

The sensation spreads on the pictorial surface with a fast and at times meditated way, in absolute forms and spaces through the weight of color and material that blow up with strength and vigor.

Each space becomes an object of thinking, an imaginary dimension in which absolute forms are forged in full feeling and perceiving.
